Football Fever from Pokerstars is your opportunity to win big cash prizes whilst enjoying the World Cup 2014 from Brazil. There is more than $1.7M to be won. Pokerstars have put together a World Cup package of promotions which run from June 11th to July 13th.

$1M Phase Tourney
There’s a huge $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool to play for with the Football Fever Phase Tourneys.
Phase 1 Tournaments
The Phase 1 tournaments are running daily, June 11th to July 5th, with a buy in of $27, at the following times:
- 10.25am UK time
- 3.25pm UK time
- 6.25pm UK time
- 9.25pm UK time
There may be more Phase 1 tournaments available on certain days and even some on the day of the Phase 2 prior to kick off so it’s always worth checking the Pokerstars lobby for extra Phase 1 tournaments. You can play as many Phase 1 tournaments as you like but, once you have achieved a Phase 2 ticket, you will not be able to play in any more Phase 1 tournaments.
Dealing will stop at the end of level 15 and players left with chips will go forward to Phase 2, taking their chips forward with them.
There are satellites running to the Phase 1 tournaments, around the clock, from just $0.22.
Phase 2 Tournament
There is a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool waiting to be won and that includes $100,000 for the winner. There’s only one way into this Phase 2 Football Fever Tournament and that’s through Phase 1.
The Phase 2 Footbal Fever Tournament will take place on:
- Sunday July 6th at 5.25pm UK time
Once you are through to Phase 2 cancel all other arrangements! You cannot unregister.
Football Fever Daily Challenges
There’s $500,000 to be given away by June 28th in daily All in Shootouts with the Daily Challenges. New challenges come online every day and once you have completed a challenge you will get a tourney ticket to a $10,000 all in shoutout where there is $1,000 for the winner.
The challenges are found in your personal football fever window through the Pokerstars lobby simply choose Football Fever from the menu bar. You’ll find a list of World Cup matches with their related tasks to complete.
Here’s an example..
- Once through the Football Fever window you choose 7. England vs Italy and the task is “Play in any The Hot ‘Daily Challenge'” scheduled tournament – complete the task and you will be awarded a ticket.
- Use this ticket to predict the outcome of the match, there are three choices – England win, Italy win or a draw.
- After the match the two shootouts with the incorrect results will be cancelled and the shootout with the correct result will be played 24 hours after kick off.
- You don’t even have to be logged on to be in with a chance of a share of the $10,000 prize money as all players will be all in every hand until there’s a winner.
Football Fever $100,000 Bonus Challenge
If you are up for completing 10 Daily Challenges then this is your chance to be part of the Bonus Challenge All in Shootout on June 28th at 8.05pm UK time.

Football Fever Mission Week
Simply complete your chosen Football Fever Mission, during July 7th to 13th, and you’ll be awarded a free ticket to one of the three $75,000 All in Shootouts on July 16th at the following times:

- 8.05pm UK time
- 9.05pm UK time
To find out what your Football Fever Missions are scroll down to the bottom of the Football Fever Daily Challenges, accessed through the Football Fever window as above, they all start on July 7th. The tasks could be play 10 real money sit and go tournaments, play 200 real money ring game hands or play 7 scheduled real money tournaments. So, there is a mission to suit player’s preferred poker game format.
