The European Poker Tour (EPT), the richest poker tour in the World, is back for Season 11. EPT Barcelona, Spain is the first stop and will be held along with the Estrellas Poker Tour. There’s a lot to celebrate in Barcelona this year as this will be EPT’s 100th event.
EPT Barcelona has featured in every EPT Schedule and is where the EPT first started, 2014’s event will be this August 16th to 27th.
EPT Barcelona is launching several new tournament structures, over the 12 days of play, which will be seen again throughout Season 11. Notably, new for Season 11 are two dedicated senior events, €200 and €1k, for the over 50’s and a reduced buy in, from €300 down to €200, for the Women’s Event.
Last year saw 1,200 players taking part in EPT Barcelona, Tom Middleton from England took the first prize of €924,000, this year it could be you courtesy of Pokerstars.

EPT Barcelona Online Satellites
There are EPT Barcelona satellites running around the clock and can be easily found through the Events tab then EPT in the pokerstars lobby. The satellites have buy ins from as little as €1.11 and all lead towards the EPT Barcelona qualifiers where the prize packages are awarded. As EPT Barcelona gets closer the satellite schedule will, no doubt, increase.
